Role Overview
As a Waiter or Waitress, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality dining experiences to guests. You will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and satisfied. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Working in a luxury hotel environment means maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet and escort guests to their tables in a friendly and professional manner
• Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes, ingredients, and beverages
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system
• Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards
• Ensure tables are properly set before and during service
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and timely service
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and dining sections
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Handle billing, payments, and closing procedures accurately
• Upsell menu items and promote daily specials when appropriate
Requirements
✔ Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a hotel or upscale restaurant preferred
✔ Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
✔ Positive attitude and professional appearance
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
✔ Strong teamwork skills
✔ Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
✔ Passion for delivering excellent customer service
