Common Grounds, one of Dubai’s most recognized café concepts under the EATX group, is currently looking for talented and energetic Baristas to join its growing team. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, specialty coffee, and community-driven approach, the café offers an exciting workplace where creativity and service excellence go hand in hand.
About the Role
As a Barista at Common Grounds, you will be more than just a coffee maker—you will be an essential part of the customer experience. From crafting high-quality beverages to engaging with guests, your role is key in maintaining the café’s reputation for excellence.
You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, consistency, and a friendly attitude are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee and teas
- Ensure every drink meets quality and presentation standards
- Provide friendly, professional, and personalized service to all customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and service areas
- Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is passionate, reliable, and thrives in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a café environment is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Basic English communication skills (additional languages are a plus)
