Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai blends contemporary design, a vibrant beachfront setting, and a culture driven by care, creativity, and curiosity. Located in the heart of Jumeirah 1, close to Dubai’s most exciting lifestyle and dining destinations, our hotel reflects the energy of the modern traveler—connected, inspired, and adventurous.
We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is ideal for someone who loves specialty coffee, thrives on guest interaction, and is eager to grow within a globally respected hospitality brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages consistently
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment efficiently
- Deliver warm, engaging, and personalized guest experiences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and service areas
- Follow Hyatt brand standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Assist with menu development and contribute creative beverage ideas
- Work collaboratively with F&B and kitchen teams for smooth service flow
- Handle guest requests and feedback professionally and efficiently
- Support daily opening, closing, and stock control procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous Barista or café experience in a high-volume or premium environment preferred
- Strong passion for coffee, craft beverages, and guest service
- Knowledge of espresso extraction, brewing techniques, and latte art is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude with a strong teamwork mindset
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced hospitality environment
