These roles are ideal for culinary professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and are passionate about creating exceptional dishes.

Job Responsibilities

Depending on the position level, candidates will assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining kitchen standards. Commis chefs will support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, prepare ingredients, and ensure food is produced according to recipes and quality standards.

The Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie roles will have greater responsibilities, including managing a section of the kitchen, supervising junior staff, maintaining consistency in food preparation, and ensuring smooth service during busy hours.

All culinary team members must maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness according to international hospitality standards. You will also collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and support menu development where required.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Hospitality (preferred)
• Previous experience in hotels, restaurants, or resort kitchens
• Knowledge of international cooking techniques and food safety standards
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Passion for food presentation and quality

Entry-level candidates with relevant kitchen training may apply for Commis positions, while Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie roles require proven professional kitchen experience.

Salary & Benefits

Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts offers a competitive salary package and attractive employee benefits, including:

• Salary Range:

  • Commis 3: AED 2,200 – AED 2,600
  • Commis 2: AED 2,500 – AED 3,000
  • Commis 1: AED 2,800 – AED 3,500
  • Demi Chef de Partie: AED 3,500 – AED 4,500
  • Chef de Partie: AED 4,500 – AED 6,000
