We are currently seeking a hardworking and dependable Kitchen Porter to join our back-of-house team in Emirates Hills. This is a great opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards and supporting kitchen operations in a professional hospitality environment.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly by maintaining hygiene, organization, and operational support. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency of the kitchen and overall guest satisfaction.
Role Overview
The Kitchen Porter is responsible for keeping all back-of-house areas clean, safe, and fully operational. You will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure equipment, utensils, and workspaces meet strict hygiene and safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, walls, surfaces, and storage areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Ensure workstations are clean and organized throughout service
- Support proper waste management and recycling procedures
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness of refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas
- Provide basic support to chefs during preparation when required
- Follow health, safety, and food hygiene regulations strictly
- Assist during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations

- Consistent cleanliness and readiness of kitchen areas
- Compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
- Teamwork and reliability
- Ability to handle workload efficiently during peak hours
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Steward, or cleaner (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 2,000 – 2,500 per month (Based on experience)
