Job Description
We are currently hiring dynamic, self-motivated Food & Beverage professionals to join our hospitality team as Head Waiter / Head Waitress. This role is responsible for leading service teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and ensuring the highest standards of food and beverage service.
As a Head Waiter / Head Waitress, you will play a key role in organizing, directing, and motivating the service team to provide prompt, personalized, and professional service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with Kitchen, Stewarding, and Cashier teams to ensure smooth outlet operations
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the service team on a daily basis
- Conduct regular training sessions in line with departmental SOPs
- Prepare and manage duty rosters and work schedules
- Ensure proper grooming, appearance, and discipline of all team members
- Oversee timely setup of the F&B outlet according to service standards and opening hours
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and support hostess operations when required
- Build professional relationships with guests to ensure comfort and satisfaction
- Maintain strong knowledge of menus, promotions, and hotel offerings
- Support management in achieving and maximizing monthly revenue targets
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory or leadership role
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of MICROS / POS systems is an advantage
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
