Katrina Sweets is currently seeking talented, passionate, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Pastry & Bakery team in the UAE. We are hiring for multiple roles within our pastry and bakery section, including Commis Chef, Demi Chef de Partie, and Chef de Partie (CDP). As part of the team, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of high-quality baked goods such as cakes, pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty items while maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and presentation according to company standards.

JOB ROLE

In this role, you will follow recipes accurately, ensure proper portion control, and support daily production requirements. You will also assist in maintaining smooth kitchen operations, especially during busy production hours, while ensuring all products meet quality expectations. Creativity and attention to detail are highly valued, especially when it comes to presentation and finishing of pastry items.

Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the kitchen is a key part of your responsibilities. You must follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients. You will also be responsible for ensuring that kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates applying should have previous experience in pastry or bakery production within a café, bakery, hotel, or catering environment. Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and modern pastry trends will be an advantage. For senior roles such as CDP, candidates should have experience managing a section, supervising junior staff, and maintaining production efficiency under pressure.

Location: UAE
Salary: AED 2,000 – AED 4,500 (based on experience and position) + benefits as per UAE labor law
