Job Overview
PDL Café is seeking dedicated team members who can maintain high standards in both beverage preparation and kitchen operations. The Barista will be responsible for crafting quality coffee and delivering excellent customer service, while the Commis Chef (Hot Section) will assist in preparing hot food items and supporting kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
Barista
- Prepare and serve coffee and specialty beverages
- Ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Greet customers and take orders professionally
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station
- Operate coffee machines and POS systems
- Handle customer inquiries and provide recommendations
Commis Chef – Hot Section
- Assist in preparing hot food items as per menu
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Support kitchen team during busy service hours
- Ensure proper food storage and handling
- Help in basic food preparation tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation (Barista) or cooking techniques (Commis)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of specialty coffee and latte art (Barista)
