Job Overview
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering exceptional customer service. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and ensuring they have a great café experience.
The ideal candidate should be friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about coffee. Whether it’s crafting the perfect espresso or engaging with customers, your contribution will help maintain the café’s reputation for quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all beverages
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station and seating areas
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and POS systems efficiently
- Handle customer inquiries and provide product recommendations
- Manage cash transactions and billing
- Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Friendly and positive personality
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic English communication skills (additional languages are a plus)
