Job Overview
As a Barista, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding café experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and beverages while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and a passion for coffee culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty beverages
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all drinks
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area
- Operate coffee machines and other café equipment efficiently
- Handle customer inquiries and provide recommendations when needed
- Manage cash transactions and operate POS systems
- Refill stock supplies and ensure inventory is well maintained
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly personality with a customer-first mindset
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Basic English communication skills (additional languages are a plus)
