About the Role
As an Indian Cuisine Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of traditional and modern Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and contribute to menu development with creative ideas and authentic flavors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes (North & South Indian)
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Maintain proper hygiene and food safety standards
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing team
- Manage kitchen operations during shifts
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff
- Ensure timely food preparation and service
- Follow company standards and kitchen procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and recipes
- Experience in hotel or restaurant kitchens preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Passion for cooking and attention to detail
