Job Overview
As a Chef at Turka Marsa Turkish Restaurant, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining the authenticity of Turkish flavors. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations, consistency in food quality, and timely service.
This role is ideal for chefs who are creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling a busy kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Turkish dishes according to menu standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Assist in menu development and introducing new dishes
- Ensure timely preparation during peak service hours
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Experience in Turkish cuisine is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for cooking and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
