Key Responsibilities:
As a Commis Chef, you will play an essential role in supporting the kitchen operations and ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of menu items
- Following recipes and presentation guidelines set by the head chef
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
- Ensuring proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients
- Supporting the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
- Learning and developing new cooking techniques and skills
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role as Commis Chef or kitchen assistant
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Experience in Italian cuisine is an added advantage
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
