Position Overview – Front Office Supervisor
Under the supervision of the Front Office Manager or Night Manager, the Front Office Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring smooth daily front desk operations. This position is responsible for supervising reception activities, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring that every guest leaves with a positive and memorable impression.
The ideal candidate is confident, well-groomed, service-oriented, and capable of handling operational responsibilities while motivating the front office team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Organization
- Review and update the daily logbook to ensure continuity between shifts.
- Monitor front desk equipment and report any technical issues.
- Maintain professional grooming standards at all times.
- Supervise day-to-day reception operations to meet hotel service standards.
- Report operational updates to the Front Office Manager or Night Manager.
- Coach and monitor team performance to ensure quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety and first aid procedures.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Follow all Accor brand standards and company values.
- Stay informed about daily hotel activities, VIP arrivals, and special events.
- Attend scheduled training sessions and team briefings.
- Print and review panic reports during each shift.
2. Operational Duties
- Prepare for daily arrivals by reviewing room allocations and guest special requests.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Update guest information accurately in the hotel system.
- Handle cashiering, billing, foreign exchange, and night audit tasks.
- Process walk-in reservations and phone bookings when required.
- Provide courteous, prompt, and professional service at all times.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to resolve guest concerns.
- Issue and control guest key cards while ensuring security procedures are followed.
- Deliver messages and assist guests with information requests.
- Maintain proper documentation and file daily reports systematically.
- Participate in briefings and ensure smooth handover between shifts.
- Actively promote upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Support additional operational tasks as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
- Experience in Front Office operations within a reputable hotel environment.
- Strong communication skills and confident personality.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Strong attention to detail and guest-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is an advantage.
