About the Role
As a Head Barista at Larope Café, you will be responsible for managing daily coffee operations, ensuring consistency in quality, and leading a team of baristas to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
You will play a key role in maintaining the café’s reputation by upholding high standards in coffee preparation, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise the barista team
- Ensure all beverages meet quality and presentation standards
- Develop and update coffee menus and seasonal drinks
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee station
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer feedback
- Train new staff and improve team performance
- Ensure proper calibration of coffee machines and grinders
- Stay updated with coffee trends and introduce innovative ideas
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Head Barista or Senior Barista
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, latte art, and brewing techniques
- Experience in specialty coffee is a big advantage
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for coffee and customer service
