Key Responsibilities

Sous Chef

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Monitor stock levels and kitchen inventory
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
  • Support menu planning and development

Commis Chef

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking
  • Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Support team during busy service hours
  • Ensure proper food storage and handling

Commis Chef – Pastry

  • Assist in preparing desserts, pastries, and baked goods
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness in the pastry section
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients
  • Support pastry chef during production and service

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of cooking techniques (depending on role)
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for cooking and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
