Role and Responsibilities
As a Waiter at Novotel, your key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and bidding them farewell professionally
- Responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring satisfaction at all times
- Following the company’s grooming standards and maintaining a professional appearance
- Ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the beach areas
- Setting up sunbeds, umbrellas, and cabana stations according to hotel standards
- Providing clean towels to guests and ensuring all equipment is well-maintained
- Folding and storing umbrellas and beach equipment at the end of the day
- Reporting any hazardous conditions, suspicious activity, or incidents immediately
- Keeping work areas safe and organized at all times
- Participating in mandatory team meetings and training sessions
- Maintaining thorough knowledge of service standards and procedures
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to support smooth operations

Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or resort environment
- Strong communication skills in English
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Confidence in guest interaction and problem-solving
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety
Candidates with prior experience in beach, pool, or resort services will have an advantage. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in customer-focused positions and enjoy working in dynamic outdoor environments.
