Job Responsibilities
As a Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for assisting guests with hotel room bookings and ensuring a smooth reservation process.
Main responsibilities include:
• Handling hotel room reservations through phone, email, and online booking systems
• Providing information about room availability, rates, and hotel facilities
• Processing reservations accurately and efficiently
• Assisting guests with inquiries about bookings and accommodation
• Verifying guest details and payment information to confirm reservations
• Promoting hotel offers, packages, and promotions
• Updating reservation records and managing room inventory
• Coordinating with the front office and sales teams to ensure smooth guest experiences
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards in all communications
Reservation agents are typically the first point of contact for guests planning their stay, so professionalism and strong communication skills are essential.
Requirements
Candidates applying for this position should have:
• Previous experience in hotel reservations or front office
• Strong communication and telephone skills
• Good knowledge of reservation systems and hotel software
