Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Operations Assistant to support the daily administrative and operational activities of our head office. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth office operations by handling clerical tasks, inventory management, courier coordination, document control, and internal support functions.
This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in office administration, operations support, or corporate services within a well-established organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties including typing, photocopying, filing, mailing, and document organization
- Monitor and manage office pantry supplies and essential inventory, ensuring timely replenishment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing courier services, ensuring timely delivery of documents and packages
- Assist with the collection, distribution, and dispatch of payment vouchers, bills, letters, and internal documents
- Support the maintenance and supply of office equipment and liaise with vendors when required
- Ensure proper document filing and control for easy access and compliance
- Enter, update, and maintain internal databases and office records
- Handle office-related inquiries and provide general support to employees
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company documents and sensitive information
- Assist with day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
- Basic understanding of office procedures and administrative workflows
Experience & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in office administration, operations support, or a similar role
- Previous experience in corporate offices, retail head offices, or logistics environments is an advantage
