Job Overview

As a Parts Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing parts sales transactions, ensuring accurate stock control, and delivering a high standard of service to both internal workshop teams and external customers. This role plays a key part in achieving sales targets, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient workshop operations.


Key Responsibilities

Parts Store Operations

  • Understand and consistently implement the Parts Sales process
  • Assist customers and workshop teams with accurate parts identification and availability
  • Monitor the quality of parts received and ensure suitability for use
  • Report quality issues or discrepancies to the Parts Supervisor promptly
  • Maintain updated and well-organized parts catalogues and manufacturer lists

Stock Control & Inventory Management

  • Ensure all paperwork, documentation, and requisitions are completed accurately for easy retrieval
  • Verify that physical stock matches invoices and issue vouchers to ensure “right-first-time” transactions
  • Monitor goods outward traffic and complete required stock control documentation
  • Prevent unauthorized withdrawal of stock and maintain inventory integrity

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain safe working practices and comply with company rules and standards
  • Ensure counters and storage areas are clean, organized, and efficient
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and cost savings

Personal Development

  • Develop technical and sales skills through an agreed development plan
  • Participate in annual performance appraisals with the line manager
  • Stay updated with product knowledge for Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen parts

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy of items invoiced versus physical stock
  • Minimum return rate of parts achieved
  • Time taken from voucher issuance to parts delivery
  • Sales performance per employee

What You Will Need

  • Proven experience in Middle East automotive.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Solid understanding of dealership parts operations and inventory systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy workshop environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
