As a Picker, you will play a crucial role in warehouse operations by selecting and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where speed and accuracy are essential.
Job Responsibilities
The Picker will support daily warehouse and store operations by ensuring that online grocery and retail orders are picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch on time.
Your main responsibilities will include selecting items from inventory based on customer orders using warehouse systems. You will also check products for quality and expiry dates to ensure customers receive fresh and high-quality goods.
You will be responsible for receiving stock from suppliers, unpacking deliveries, and replenishing shelves in the warehouse or store area. Maintaining proper product organization and ensuring inventory accuracy will be a key part of your daily tasks.
The role also includes assisting with cycle counts and stock verification to ensure inventory records match physical stock. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following housekeeping and safety guidelines.
Pickers must work closely with supervisors and warehouse team members to ensure that customer orders are prepared quickly and correctly. The role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting boxes and moving products within the warehouse.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should have good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Basic requirements include:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift and move inventory items
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Basic English communication skills
Previous experience in warehouse operations, supermarkets, retail stores, or logistics roles will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
