Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Pool Attendant to join our dedicated hospitality team at Fairmont Beach Resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction in the pool and poolside areas while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service excellence.
This role is perfect for individuals passionate about guest service, teamwork, and working in a luxury resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service at all times
- Supervise the pool and surrounding areas to ensure guest safety and comfort
- Politely enforce pool rules and resort safety guidelines
- Set up, arrange, and maintain poolside furniture including loungers, umbrellas, tables, and towels
- Assist guests with towels, seating arrangements, and general poolside needs
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area by removing trash, wiping surfaces, and ensuring hygienic conditions
- Take beverage orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver drinks efficiently
- Monitor the pool area for safety hazards and immediately report or resolve issues
- Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, or complaints in a professional manner
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unusual incidents to management following safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times
- Support team members and perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in hospitality, resort, hotel, or poolside service is an advantage
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
