Sommelier
GAIA DIFC is seeking an experienced Sommelier with strong knowledge of international wines and fine dining service standards. As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for curating wine recommendations, assisting guests with pairing selections, and maintaining an exceptional wine service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend wine pairings that complement menu selections
- Maintain and manage wine inventory
- Ensure proper wine storage and presentation
- Provide detailed descriptions of wines to guests
- Work closely with the kitchen and service team
Candidates must have previous experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality and possess strong communication skills with a confident and polished personality.
Waitress
The Waitress will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages efficiently, and maintaining table standards throughout service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and personalized service
- Ensure accuracy in order taking and delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of assigned tables
- Collaborate with team members during peak service hours
- Handle guest inquiries professionally
Previous experience in high-end restaurants or five-star hotels is preferred. A professional appearance and positive attitude are essential.
Runner
The Runner supports the service team by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to the dining area while ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained. This role requires speed, coordination, and strong teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist waitstaff during busy service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and floor staff
Experience in hospitality is an advantage, but a strong willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is equally important.
