Job Purpose
The Receiving Associate plays a critical role in supporting store and warehouse operations by ensuring accurate receipt, inspection, storage, and documentation of merchandise. This position helps maintain stock integrity, operational efficiency, and smooth coordination between logistics, warehouse, and retail teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and deliveries in line with company procedures
- Verify quantities, quality, and condition of goods against delivery notes and purchase orders
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
- Ensure accurate data entry into inventory and stock management systems
- Label, tag, and organize merchandise for proper storage and distribution
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure stockroom areas
- Follow stock handling, storage, and safety standards at all times
- Support inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits
- Coordinate with store teams to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise
- Adhere to brand guidelines, loss prevention procedures, and operational policies
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, logistics, or retail stock operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management processes
- Ability to read and understand delivery documents and product codes
- Physically fit to handle lifting, moving, and organizing merchandise
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems is an advantage
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
