- Calculate totals, apply discounts, and process promotional offers accurately.
- Maintain efficiency during peak hours while ensuring accuracy.
Payment Handling & Cash Management
- Accept payments via cash, debit/credit cards, and digital payment platforms.
- Provide correct change and verify the authenticity of cash payments.
- Follow proper cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Maintain daily transaction records and assist with end-of-shift cash balancing.
Online Orders & Aggregator Platform Management
- Monitor online orders received through aggregator platforms.
- Ensure tablets and order-processing systems are functioning properly.
- Check system connectivity and troubleshoot minor issues when necessary.
- Apply discounts and promotional pricing accurately through the aggregator system.
- Update digital inventory in real-time to reflect item availability.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of online orders.
Communication & Coordination
- Assist with seating guests, answering phone calls, and managing reservations if required.
- Support bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area when needed.
- Attend training sessions to improve customer service and POS system knowledge.
- Clearly communicate customer orders to kitchen staff.
- Prioritize orders based on dine-in, takeaway, and delivery schedules.
- Work closely with service teams to ensure smooth order flow.
- Support the front-of-house team during busy shifts.
Sales & Upselling
- Promote special menu items and limited-time offers.
- Suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Stay informed about ongoing restaurant promotions and events.
Cleanliness & Compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter area.
- Ensure receipt paper, cash drawers, and POS equipment are fully stocked and functional.

- Report suspicious activities or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
Additional Duties
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Cashier in Dubai or in a restaurant/hospitality environment is an advantage.
