As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining high hygiene standards, kitchen cleanliness, and operational efficiency, ensuring smooth daily food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, walk-in refrigerators, freezers, service corridors, waste areas, and holding rooms.
- Operate and clean stewarding equipment such as dishwashers, pot washers, and cleaning machines.
- Support kitchen and service teams by ensuring timely availability of clean utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
- Follow daily duty schedules, shift timings, and stewarding task assignments.
- Assist in proper waste segregation, disposal, and recycling procedures
- Ensure minimal breakage, wastage, and spoilage of kitchen equipment and supplies..
- Comply with hotel hygiene standards, HACCP guidelines, and safety regulations.
- Work closely with chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Immediately report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or shortages to supervisors.
- Perform additional stewarding duties as assigned by the management.
- Vocational training or certification in Food & Beverage / Hospitality is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or Stewarding Assistant in hotels or restaurants.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Command of spoken English (additional languages are an advantage).
