Job Overview

Majid Al Futtaim is hiring Store Associates to support daily retail operations across store floors, warehouse, receiving, and Central Cash Office functions. This is a non-management, multi-tasking role ideal for candidates with retail experience who enjoy customer interaction, organization, and fast-paced environments.

The Store Associate plays a vital role in ensuring shelves are well-organized, products are correctly displayed, and customers receive excellent service while supporting cash office and receiving operations when required.


Key Responsibilities

Store & Merchandising Operations

  • Organize and maintain shelf space in both selling areas and warehouse according to National Plan-o-gram standards
  • Ensure clean, attractive, and customer-friendly product displays
  • Replenish shelves and maintain correct product assortment by quantity, quality, appearance, and pricing
  • Monitor slow-moving and expired stock to reduce waste and shrinkage

Receiving & Inventory Support

  • Assist the receiving team in checking, receiving, labeling, and displaying incoming products
  • Support inventory control to optimize margins and minimize losses
  • Ensure accurate pricing, barcoding, and labeling of all items

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Assist customers with product inquiries and provide prompt, friendly service
  • Promote sales while maintaining high customer service standards
  • React quickly to customer needs in a professional and positive manner

Cash Office & Store Compliance

  • Support the Central Cashier Office by assisting at the cash counter when required
  • Scan, package, and process purchased items accurately
  • Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations as per store and UAE local authority standards

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Management / Administration (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Good spoken English communication skills
  • 1–3 years of experience in retail or commercial environments
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage
