About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate (Fulfillment Operations) to join our dynamic operations team in Dubai. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely order processing within a fast-paced logistics and e-commerce fulfillment environment. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, sorting, scanning, and preparing shipments for dispatch while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute directly to operational excellence by ensuring that customer orders are handled accurately and efficiently, meeting delivery timelines and company performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking and Packing
- Accurately pick items based on system-generated picking lists or handheld device instructions.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and specifications to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and professionally according to company guidelines to prevent damage during transit.
- Ensure proper packaging materials are used based on item type and fragility.
Sorting and Shipment Preparation
- Sort parcels efficiently according to delivery routes, destination zones, or shipment categories.
- Prepare outbound shipments for dispatch in accordance with operational schedules.
- Assist in consolidating packages for bulk shipments when required.
Inbound and Outbound Operations
- Support receiving processes by unloading, checking, and organizing incoming shipments.
- Assist in verifying inbound stock against delivery documentation.
- Help manage outbound shipments to ensure timely dispatch and documentation accuracy.
Quality Control and Accuracy
- Perform basic quality checks to confirm correct product selection and quantities.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items immediately.
- Ensure all parcels are labeled correctly and comply with shipment standards.
System and Documentation Handling
- Use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to scan, update, and track shipment status.
- Maintain accurate records of processed orders and inventory movements.
- Report discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Warehouse Organization and Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within assigned warehouse areas.
- Ensure storage racks and inventory areas are arranged systematically.
- Follow proper stock rotation procedures when applicable.
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere strictly to company safety policies and operational procedures.
- Use equipment and tools responsibly and report any safety hazards.
- Maintain a safe and accident-free work environment.
Inventory Support
- Assist in periodic inventory counts and stock reconciliation activities.
- Support stock arrangement and replenishment when required.
Additional Tasks
- Carry out other operational duties as assigned by the supervisor to support overall warehouse efficiency.
Education & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills required for reading labels, scanning items, and completing documentation.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment centers, logistics, courier services, or e-commerce environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with picking, packing, and sorting processes is beneficial.
- Experience working with handheld scanners or warehouse systems is preferred but not mandatory.
