Park Hyatt Doha is currently seeking a passionate and service-oriented Barista to join its Food & Beverage team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing quality coffee, interacting with guests and maintaining high service standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Overview

The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages while ensuring every guest receives friendly, professional and personalized service.

The successful candidate should have a good understanding of coffee preparation techniques, espresso machines, beverage presentation and customer service. Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café or specialty coffee environment will be an advantage.

Candidates should be enthusiastic, well-presented and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, including cappuccino, latte, americano, macchiato and flat white.
• Operate professional espresso machines, coffee grinders and other beverage equipment.
• Prepare hot and cold beverages according to hotel standards and guest preferences.
• Maintain consistency in coffee quality, taste, temperature and presentation.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Take beverage orders accurately and respond to guest requests professionally.
• Recommend coffee selections and other beverages based on guest preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and service areas.
• Ensure all coffee equipment, utensils and preparation areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
• Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups and other beverage supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve minor service issues professionally.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance throughout the shift.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates interested in applying for the Barista position should ideally meet the following requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barista, preferably in a luxury hotel, restaurant or specialty coffee shop.
• Good knowledge of espresso preparation and different coffee beverages.
• Familiarity with professional coffee machines and grinders.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of beverage presentation and preparation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Positive attitude with a passion for coffee and guest satisfaction.
• Good personal grooming and professional presentation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
