Spa Therapist – Jumeirah Zabeel Saray (Talise Ottoman Spa)

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Perform sensational lymphatic drainage, Thai massage, deep-tissue, sports, hot stone, aromatherapy, and other treatments.
• Prepare oils, towels, heated beds, and ambiance, and maintain high standards throughout the day.
• Daily check on visiting schedules; prepare and attend home therapy sessions.
• Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation of the workplace and equipment.
• Recommend additional treatment sessions and services, and upsell our authentic product brands.
• Computer literacy skills in MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Speaking Russian, French, or Arabic is a plus.
• Collaborates with other departments, such as Concierge and Front Desk, to ensure seamless operations.
• Collaborates with reception and other departments to run a smooth operation.
• Stay updated about spa techniques, treatments, and industry trends.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven track record of 2-3 years’ experience as a spa therapist in a luxury or award-winning spa establishment.
• Must be certified or licensed as a massage therapist.
• Solid knowledge of trigger points, hot stone, deep tissue, prenatal, and reflexology.
• Outstanding communication skills and exceptional customer service.
• Regional therapy exposure experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, especially during weekends and public holidays if necessary.
• Willing to educate clients about the products and treatments and recommend appropriate products.
• Dexterous and willing to stand for extended periods.
