Open Position: Barista
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Candidate must be willing to relocate across Dubai)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and performance

What We Are Looking For

At Chedi Hospitality, our ideal candidate for the Barista position will possess a blend of technical skills, a friendly, positive attitude, and a passion for coffee culture. The right candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation.

Key Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Barista, Min 1 year of experience or in a similar role within a busy cafe or star-class hospitality environment.
Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, Chemex, v60, French press, espresso machine operation, and fresh juices, mojitos, smoothies, protein shakes, and beverage presentation.
Having strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers in a calm manner.
A friendly, approachable, positive attitude with a keen eye for every detail.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and at the same time handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. (We have split rotation shifts)
A team-oriented mindset.
Health and safety standards in food and beverage service.

Your Responsibilities
Provide Customer Service Excellence All The Time

Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, personalized, valuable service.
Take customer orders accurately and efficient way to deliver on time without being delayed.
Offer suggestions, up-sellings, and recommendations, and answer questions about our menu offerings.
Calmly, handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues promptly and professional way.

Beverage Preparation

Your role will be to prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, such as latte, cappuccino, cortado, americano, speciality coffees, frappes, herbal teas, and other beverages by following our cafe recipes and standards.
Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and effectively.(Having skill to maintain machines is a plus).
Ensure all beverages are presented attractively and to high-quality standards according to our company guidelines.
Monitor, check, request inventory levels, and communicate supply needs to store in charge.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

Maintain a clean and organized work station, including equipment and bar counters.
Always follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and our high-value customers.
Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management to minimize wastage.

Team Collaboration

Work collaboratively with our team members to ensure smooth daily operations during the day.
Support other staff members during hectic periods and contribute to a positive work environment to improve a smooth operation.
