Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Banking FX Specialist to support the growth of foreign exchange (FX) revenue within the Business Banking portfolio. The role works closely with Relationship Managers (RMs), Treasury, and internal stakeholders to drive FX penetration, improve customer engagement, and enhance operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting FX products, supporting onboarding, monitoring portfolio performance, and delivering exceptional service to business banking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support achievement of Business Banking FX revenue targets in collaboration with Relationship Managers
- Assist RMs with FX client onboarding and activation
- Contribute to the development and launch of new FX products and solutions
- Participate in planning, organizing, and monitoring FX booster campaigns
- Track portfolio performance, penetration levels, and revenue contribution
- Conduct regular reviews of FX transaction workflows and recommend process improvements to management
- Promote FX products and services through client meetings, presentations, and proactive engagement
- Negotiate client FX rates and margins in line with bank policies
- Coordinate closely with the Treasury Department to resolve pending issues and maintain high service standards
- Prepare and manage customer call rosters based on portfolio due diligence
- Monitor customer transaction flows in relation to their business activities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory guidelines, and Shari’a requirements
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within business banking, FX sales, treasury, or financial services
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX), banking products, and operations
- Good understanding of business banking client needs and transaction behavior
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
- Strong analytical and portfolio management capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Results-driven mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced banking environment
