STEWARDING STAFF | TOWERS ROTANA

We are currently seeking dynamic, self-motivated, and hardworking Food & Beverage professionals who are passionate about cleanliness, hygiene, and teamwork, and who wish to build a long-term career in the hospitality industry.

As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining high hygiene standards, kitchen cleanliness, and operational efficiency, ensuring smooth daily food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, walk-in refrigerators, freezers, service corridors, waste areas, and holding rooms.
  • Operate and clean stewarding equipment such as dishwashers, pot washers, and cleaning machines.
  • Support kitchen and service teams by ensuring timely availability of clean utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
  • Follow daily duty schedules, shift timings, and stewarding task assignments.
  • Assist in proper waste segregation, disposal, and recycling procedures
  • Ensure minimal breakage, wastage, and spoilage of kitchen equipment and supplies..
  • Comply with hotel hygiene standards, HACCP guidelines, and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams to maintain smooth operations.
  • Immediately report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or shortages to supervisors.
  • Perform additional stewarding duties as assigned by the management.
  • Vocational training or certification in Food & Beverage / Hospitality is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or Stewarding Assistant in hotels or restaurants.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • Command of spoken English (additional languages are an advantage).
