We are not a restaurant or a cafe. We are a healthcare hospitality team. Our patients, visitors, and staff deserve warmth, comfort, and Food and beverage services – often served alongside a perfectly brewed cappuccino or a carefully plated meal for patients, doctors, and visitors.
Right now, we are hiring both a Barista and a Waitress to join our in-hospital café and patient dining services. These are two separate roles. You may apply for one or express interest in both.

Working Hours & Schedule
- Full-time: 48 hours per week (8 hours/day, 6 days/week). One day off (Friday or Saturday, rotation).

What Your Job Role Will be
You will operate the main outpatient cafe on the ground floor of our hospital, serving a variety of coffees such as cappuccino, latte, americano, cortado, mocha, decaf coffees, tea, light pastries, and healthy organic snacks to patients waiting for consultations, as well as to doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Espresso preparation: Pull shots using a commercial semi-automatic machine; every morning, dial in the grinder.
- Latte art: Steam oat, almond, and whole milk. Pour hearts or rosettas – not required to be competition-level, but a clean and presentable cup of coffee.
- Brewing batch coffee & tea: Prepare fresh filter coffee every 2 hours such as Chemex, v60 and brew coffee. Steep loose-leaf teas (chamomile, green, peppermint, English breakfast).
- Awareness of Diatary: Basic Knowledge of sugar-free syrups, decaf coffee options, and non-dairy alternatives. Some patients have medical dietary restrictions, so you have to be aware. We will provide basic training.
- Cleaning & sanitation: Backflush espresso machines, Clean steam wands after every use, Wipe counters with food-grade sanitizer. Empty coffee grounds bin.
- Stock Items management: Restock bags, lids, napkins, and milk. Flag low supplies to the Store In charge.
- Transactions: All payments are via card or hospital patient wristband. Waitresses and baristas must avoid cash handling errors.
Key Qualifications for Success
- Minimum 12 months of barista experience in a cafe restaurant or hotel.
- Good knowledge of espresso extraction about time, yield, and doses.
- Fluent in English. (spoken and written). Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, are a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Physically able to stand for 7+ hours and lift up to 15 kg (coffee bean bags, milk crates and garbage)
Its a plus point (not required):
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
- Food safety certification (Dubai Municipality Food Handler’s card)

Open Position: Hospital Waitress (Patient Dining area & VIP Lounge)
What You Will Do
You will serve inpatient meals (patients admitted for surgery or recovery) as well as the VIP waiting lounge for families of surgical patients. This is not a typical restaurant waitressing role – you will work closely with dietitians and nurses to complete their meal supplements.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Tray setup: Assemble patient meal trays according to prescribed diet codes such like low sodium,allergens, soft food,dieabedit, liquid.you must follow the color code label rules.
- Meal delivery: Transport meal carts to patient rooms. introduce yourself, and place the tray on the bedside table. Adjust bed height if needed (We provide the basic training).
- Guest service in VIP lounge: Serve Gawa coffee, dates, fresh-pressed juices, sandwiches, wraps, and pastries to waiting families. Refill beverages regularly and discreetly.
- Confirmation of dietary: Before serving, confirm with the patient about the room number, allergies that were not mentioned, double check is a must.
- Clearing & cleaning: Remove soiled trays within 20 minutes of the patient finishing. Wipe down and sanitize tables, high chairs, and counters with a hospital-grade disinfectant procedure.
- Communication: Report uneaten meals or patient complaints to the dietitian as soon as possible.
- Hygiene compliance: Wear only a hospital-provided uniform, hairnet, and gloves when handling open food.
Who You Are as a Waitress
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of waitress, server, dining experience in a hotel, restaurant.
- Must be fluent in English reading and speaking (meal labels, diet codes, patient names).
- Some patients may be post-surgery, tired, or anxious. Be polite, gentle, and patient in demeanor.
- Physically able to push meal carts (up to 50 kg with wheels) and stand, bend and walk for a full shift.

- Experience certificate from previous employer.
