Why this role matters:

Unlike in large organizations where responsibilities are divided among different departments, this role demands full ownership of employee relationships, payroll coordination, visa processing, and many more. The Bin Sabt Sports and leisure human resources position is not a standard corporate HR role. Working as an HR in the construction and sports infrastructure sector appears distinct due to the industries. This position will collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership to develop a high-performing, scalable organization through strategies that include talent acquisition, performance management, workforce planning, and HR operations across various units.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle activities of recruitment, job description preparation, posting job vacancies, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Addressing employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace issues, in coordination with department managers, ensures staff needs are met.
  • Handle employee onboarding, documentation, orientation, Support payroll and salary-related documentation, and maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with company regulations, policies, and applicable UAE employment labour regulations.
  • Assist with employee engagement, workforce planning, and training initiatives.
  • Ensure full recruitment cycles are handled for assigned departments or roles, and collaborate closely with senior recruiters.
  • Sources for talent acquisition include job boards, direct outreach, referrals, building a foundation of early experience in headhunting, and utilizing multiple channels for sourcing.
  • Explore innovative sourcing methods that support company goals, and keep the workplace organized and clean.
  • Identifies employee issues, communicates them to relevant departments, and schedules meetings with both employees and managers related to those issues.

Qualifications:

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in Human Resources & Administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • The UAE requirement includes construction experience, which is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Hands-on experience in HR operations, payroll coordination, medical insurance, and visa processes.
  • Arabic language ability (spoken) is a strong plus for government and local partner communications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Google Sheets, Words, along with a professional attitude, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience handling multiple open roles across functions and a solid understanding of recruitment tools and sourcing strategies.
  • Independently work, manage multiple priorities, handle confidential information professionally, and adhere to deadlines.

What to expect:

  • The salary ranges between AED 4,500 and 6,000 per month, contingent upon experience.
  • Operating on a schedule of five days a week, eight hours a day, with weekends off.
  • Leave entitlement per year.
  • Sponsorship of a UAE resident visa.

  • Medical coverage according to UAE law.
