About the Role

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is seeking a dedicated and trustworthy Warehouse Assistant to support daily operations at its Dubai facility. This role involves direct interaction to ensure goods are moved smoothly and efficiently within the warehouse. From the moment we receive the goods and stack them, we store them, pick according to the packing sheet, then pack and dispatch them. We’re looking for a candidate who will join the coordinated team and work with the warehouse team leader and supervisor to manage timely, efficient operations and precise inventory management. Key responsibilities:

• Handling goods into, within, and out of the warehouse must be done carefully to prevent damage to the goods, the warehouse, or the delivery vehicle.
• Pick the required items, including spare parts, from the packing list and fulfill customer needs.
• Tracking dispatches and off-loading shipments with the assistance of drivers and helpers.
• Make sure all duties are fulfilled according to the company’s policies and procedures.
• Perform manual handling and lifting of spare parts and goods, & Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff on the preparation of shipping documents.
• Adhere strictly to the company guidelines, health, and safety procedures.
• Do not utilize Hellmann equipment in the name of safety.
• Reports should be submitted immediately for any incidents, accidents, or damages at the warehouse in question or to the team leader.
• Show an approach that promotes continuous improvement through the CIP process.
• In addition to your designated job responsibilities, you may be required to perform tasks assigned by the warehouse team leader or manager

Essentials:

• Candidate must be currently based in the United Arab Emirates.
• Solid understanding of warehouse safety and material handling.
• Proven skills and extensive experience in palletizing and packing materials.
• Experience with spare parts, trucks, auto parts, or in an industrial setting is desirable.
• Fluent in speaking and writing in English and knowledge in hindi language.
• Maintaining physical fitness and stamina is necessary for tasks like lifting, carrying boxes, and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to learn and adjust to various tasks within the warehouse. While a valid driver’s license is an advantage, it is not mandatory.
• Expertise in inventory systems and Microsoft Excel for updating inventories is necessary.
• A notice period of 30 days is considered and is suitable for those who can join immediately.
