Key Responsibilities:

Service Support

• Make sure proper presentations and table arrangements.
• Ensure food and drink deliveries are timely and precise.
• Keep service pathways, trays, and delivery stations clean.
• Help waiters and senior waiters keep the restaurant flowing smoothly.

Communication

• Ensure a seamless transition during shift changes.
• Ensure clear communication with the kitchen team, bar staff, and service crew.
• Ensure delays or problems are reported to senior staff without delay.
• Escalate guest complaints related to delivery delays or order errors to F&B Manager.

Personality

• Support for duties that need to be opened or closed in the restaurant.
• Ensure a respectable demeanor along with a courteous disposition.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety protocols at all times.

KPIs & Success Metrics

• Efficient cleaning of the service area, dining tables, and the floor.
• The precision and velocity of food delivery.
• Assist with table clearing and resetting in coordination with the service team.

Qualifications:

• While experience as a busser or runner in a hotel, cafe, or restaurant isn’t required for this role, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• High school diploma, for a hotel school- or equivalent certificate.
• Physical endurance is needed for standing for extended periods, walking, handling base trays, and pushing carts.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Focus on providing top-notch service and precision.
• A guest-focused approach and positive attitude.
• Flexible to rotating shifts, public holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Supporting colleagues and maintaining a positive attitude throughout the department.
• Proactive, guest-first attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
• Capable of adhering to instructions and collaborating effectively across diverse teams.

Performance Expectations:

• Fast and accurate food delivery.
• Correct table and dish identification.
• Strong coordination with the kitchen and service teams.
• Compliance with hygiene, grooming and service standards.
• Minimal delays, mistakes and breakages.
