Employment Position
This will be your typical day routine.
- At the beginning of your shift, report to the cleaning department, grab your trolley, and visit rooms for cleaning according to the plan.
- According to our international Marriott standards, clean the assigned guest rooms, remaking the beds with fresh bed sheets, sweep and mop the floor, vacuum the floor carpets, and wipe the room materials in a proper manner.
- Clean the bathroom shower, wash basin, bathtub, and toilets properly and sanitise them.
- Restock the towels, hand towels, toilet paper, hand wash liquids, soaps, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.
- Make sure to ensure guest satisfaction without letting them point out, always add extra pillows, bath towels, and a return room visit.
- Handle customer complaints with a friendly manner and be the problem solver for better and fast guest service without disappointment.
- identify busted lights, broken mugs or plates, dirty carpets, water dripping or leakage, broken fitting lights, and report to the housekeeping in charge as soon as possible.
- Hotel corridors, entrances, elevators, staircases, guest waiting area, lobbies, and service area must be cleaned daily.
- Carry out Marriott health and hygiene protocols, follow the correct cleaning methods according to the hotel standards.
- During the room service, be aware of guests’ requirements and needs and provide the service as soon as possible.
- Assist in group check-ins, deep cleaning sessions, and work under pressure specially weekend and peak seasons.
- According to par levels, inform the housekeeping staff in charge for restock items in the daily routine.

Must have following qualifications
- Minimum grade 12th pass or high secondary/ High school education level.
- Any prior cleaning or training certificates are an additional.
- Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, or apartment, familiarity with hotel rooms, layouts, and services.
- Basic speaking and reading plus writing skills for English, able to understand what the guest explains and communicate with them, and read guest room sheets, writing working schedules included.
- A second language beyond English, Tagalog, Urdu, and Arabic is preferred.
- This job role requires physical fitness to bend to clean, carry cleaning items, lift furniture, stand, push trolleys and garbage bins, and walk for long hours.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and how to use them with safety methods, without any damage to the equipment.
- Flexibility of working rotational shifts, busy weekends, those who are not expecting off, and public holidays.
- Genuine care about the job position and a go-getter attitude, plus having team spirit.
