Heavy Machinery Operator Job Role

As a heavy machinery operator in QER, you will be responsible for operating multiple construction equipment safely and efficiently at Dubai work sites. This job role requires technical skills and perseverance to meet safety standards.

Assist and coordinate with the project site in charge, supervisors, engineers, and the work crew to maintain a consistent work rhythm. In a day-to-day job, Core Functions will include operating bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and other heavy machinery. Ensure the ground crew and workflow comply with safety standards in accordance with UAE rules.

What’s QER is Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of operating heavy machinery.
• Secondary or high school education.
• Valid UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License or valid international recognized heavy equipment license.
• Gulf countries or UAE construction projects in road work and industrial construction experience.
• OHSA and IOSH basic training certificates, and Awareness of UAE construction safety code and safety standards.
• Mechanical troubleshooting knowledge, GPS operation, and basic maintenance knowledge of oil refilling, oil, and hydraulics.
• Physical stamina and fitness, good eyesight, and willingness to work long hours outdoors during the UAE summer season.
• Literacy in English, able to read the site structures and plans. At least Basic English is mandatory, and speaking Arabic is an extra advantage.
• Commit to working as a team with full attention.
• Hands-on experience in crawler and wheeled graders, rollers, cranes, and loaders.
