Position Overview: Warehouse Assistant

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in managing daily warehouse operations. From receiving shipments to picking items and preparing orders for dispatch, your contribution ensures smooth supply chain operations in our warehouse.

This role is ideal for individuals who can perform physical work, lift 20lbs, perform structured tasks, and work in a family.

Warehouse Responsibilities

Your daily tasks include:

• Receiving items from 3rd party vendors and inspecting them.
• Check the quality of the items, separate damages, and report to the supervisor.
• Organizing products by bin location in designated storage areas in the warehouse.
• Based on the packing sheet, pick the items accurately with the mentioned quantities, pack them, and mention the labels.
• Report to the section in charge for daily cycle counts, bin counts, and discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse sections tidy at all times.
• Prepare goods, pack them safely, and stack them in the designated area for delivery to retail outlets.
• Reporting damaged or missing items or overage to the supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• High school Education plus a supply chain or logistics-relevant diploma is considered.
• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Physically fit and able to lift items to 33 lbs when required.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to follow the supervisor’s instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Microsoft Excel basic knowledge.

Freshers with a strong work ethic are also encouraged to apply.

Warehouse Environment

Our BFL Warehouse operations can sometimes be fast-paced and physically demanding. You may be required.

• Stand or move for long periods. (Our duty hours are 8 hours, but due to the season, we must go for overtime)
• Handle boxes, items, and packages carefully using a trolley, a jack, and a pallet.
• Able to use RF gun and barcode scanners.
• Knowledge of forklifts is a plus point.
• Work day and night shifts, including evenings and weekends. (Our working schedule is rotational)

Salary & Benefits

• Salary will be 2500-2800 AED based on experience.
