Working as a pastry chef at Katrina Bakery Ltd, you will carry out kitchen operations. That’s the heart of the operation. Creating, preparing, and presenting a wide range of bakery and pastry products with high-quality company standards will be your responsibilities. Major Kitchen Responsibilities
- Bakery production preparation according to the Katrina Bakery menu items, which include cheese cakes and other types of cakes, cookies, loaf breads, all types of croissants, tarts, and other bakery products that matches to katrina bakery quality and standards by following the recipes.
- Viral pastry and bakery products, seasonal concepts created by assistants with the head chef and executive chefs with the approval of management.
- Thoroughly maintain the product quality process, make sure the bakery products come out of the oven and leave the bakery shop with the brand standard, taste, quality, and presentation.
- Measure the ingredients for portions accurately and prepare doughs, batters, sauces, creams, and mixtures with the balancing of ingredient measurements and taste balance.
- Make sure all the preparations are completed, including the pastry section mise en place, ahead of service to run the kitchen operation smoothly.
- Well-sound knowledge of bakery equipment handling dough sheeters, ovens, mixers, and other kitchen equipment operate with safety manner.
- Managing stock levels for the pastry section ingredients and flagging shortfalls to the purchasing members, and minimizing wastage on day-to-day operations.
- Assist the kitchen team whenever hel
- p is required, especially during peak hours and mentor them to run a positive collaborative operation.

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of minimum professional pastry, bakery chef job role experience in a hotel, restaurent of cafe environment with sound culinary arts experience in the GCC.
- Extensive working experience in Viennoiserie Production, Confectionery, chocolate artwork, and patisserie.
- Hands-on experience is high volume bulk bakery production atmosphere is an additional advantage.
- Strong crafting, innovating, and creative pastry technical skills.
- Food safety certificate with Well understand of HCAPP regulations and food hygiene, plus food safety principles.
- Take responsibility to work individually whenever required during busy hours.
- Good command in English writing and reading, plus additional languages, are a plus but not mandatory.
- Perfect time management skills to accomplish the daily challenging tasks simultaneously during peak hours.
- Hunger and the passion for bakery products, technology, techniques, and viral trend experiments.
