Key responsibilities of Warehouse Assistant at On Time

We will breakdown what are the major key points that a warehouse assistant will do on a day-to-day basis.

• On day to day operation you will be responsible for the warehouse operation, which includes receiving stocks, offload itand inspect about the item quality by matching with the driver’s delivery note. Before you dine, you have to be sure on theres nodiscrepanciess or damages, which leads to system errors of stock units.
• Make space for shelves and rearrange the bins. The items that you received have to be located in the designated ar, ea which the is bags section, jewellery and accessory section. Make sure your palletizing or stacking is in the exact location that matches the warehouse management system.
• Order picking and filling, this is a vital part that you have to carry out in the operation. If you make a mistake, it will lead to a lot of issues and wastage of time to prepare again. Day-to-day Operation

As a warehouse assistant at the On-Time Warehouse, every morning, you will have a brief by the team leader about the daily plan, urgent orders, and regional orders that have to be filled before the deadlines. Once the brief is done, you will get the packing list or be assigned to the receiving area. It depends on the day. If you got the packing list to pick the items, work on the assigned section, and pick accurately by matching the SKU numbers and barcode. Collect the items into a trolley and hand it to the QC Section. If you’re working as a receiver, you will be responsible for receiving the goods from 3rd party vendor or our supplier.

Count the received goods, check for damages or discrepancies; if yes, inform the manager with the report. So this will be your day-to-day task during every single day, and then during the work you may have stock cycle counts, rechecking stocks, and assisting the packing section. • As per UAE guidelines, your monthly salary will be 2500 – 3000 AED tax-free. This salary does not include free accommodations or transportation.
